Who We Are:
Our Legends recount a time when the world was untamed, and perfected souls from former races were sent by the gods to bring wisdom to humanity. This gave birth to the Craft of the Wise, an age-old tradition known as the Old Religion. The Priesthood of this tradition were the healers, teachers, and spiritual guides for their people. Even during times of tribal conflict, these Priests maintained a peaceful unity within their communities.
Today, the Druidic Craft of the Wise (DCW) stands as a modern continuation of this ancient legacy. These teachings have been curated and organized into a structured series of lessons by our late Grand Master, Eli. Eli, who hailed from the Ozark Mountains, shaped these teachings in his own upbringing.
What We Are Not:
The DCW is distinct from re-constructionist Druid organizations or lineage-based Druid paths. Instead, it draws from the wellspring of ancient knowledge to carve a contemporary route of self-discovery and magical growth. In 1970, Eli had a vision that marked the time for sharing the Craft’s teachings in the New Age of Aquarius – an era driven by the pursuit of knowledge and personal truth.
What We Do:
At the heart of our practice lies a commitment to embracing ancient wisdom within a modern context. The Druidic Craft of the Wise (DCW) guides seekers on a transformative journey of self-discovery, magic, and spiritual growth. Our teachings honor the vibrant tapestry of global traditions, fostering an inclusive environment where members are encouraged to explore diverse spiritual paths. We believe in the power of knowledge and the cultivation of one’s unique connection to the mystical.
Central to our offerings is the “Basic Non-Denominational Witchcraft” class, a foundational 11-week program that precedes the exploration of DCW’s traditional wisdom. This class serves as a gateway, providing essential insights and skills necessary to engage with our time-honored teachings.
Beyond the introductory class, the DCW offers a comprehensive three-month course in Craft philosophy. Upon successful completion of this course, students become eligible for initiation into the Craft of the Wise. Subsequently, dedicated individuals who complete a thirteen-month Apprenticeship are eligible for Fellowship in the Craft of the Wise.
Our members are encouraged to embark on a holistic journey of learning. Various specialized courses in Music, Dance, Astrology, Agriculture, and Natural Medicine provide avenues for deeper exploration. Membership in the Craft encompasses much more than mere ‘book learning’; it is a way of life that resonates deeply with the soul.
The teachings bestowed upon us by Eli establish a profound connection between the mortal, mental, and spiritual dimensions of existence. These teachings translate into the practical application of Nature’s Laws, as codified in the Hermetic Principles. They offer clarity to all who seek a better understanding of their natural relationship with Mother Earth and our Heavenly Father. This deepened comprehension serves as a foundation for self-improvement and the betterment of our world.
